Sew Ladylike was birthed out of a need for modest attire that could be worn to religious functions. After dilligently searching local stores and shopping malls, I realized that basic, modest dresses were near non-existent in commerical clothing. In order to fulfill my need for a modest dress, I decided to design and sew my own. It wasn't long before folks began asking where I purchased my wardrobe. In response to this, I designed one basic dress to sell to others. Fifty-two dresses sold the very first week! Sew Ladylike was born.

Sew Ladylike's designs range from basic everyday attire to historical reproduction costuming. We have created displays for local museums and clothing for historical reenactors. It has been a joy and a pleasure to provide this service.

After years of sewing for others, I have now shifted focus toward training future designers and patternmakers. I have a master's degree in English Education and am an educator and professional curriculum developer by trade. I hope you will enjoy learning with my courses as much as I enjoyed creating them.
